Abramelin oil is a traditional ceremonial magic oil for use in ritual work such as described in the writings of Abramelin the Mage. Focus herb: Cinnamon

My version of Abramelin is based on the Crowley/Mathers (mis)interpretation of a medieval occultist’s adaptation of Jewish Holy oil. The main difference is that the Mathers version substitutes Galangal (which would have been unavailable to early Hebrew Kabbalists) for Calamus.

There are two differences between my Abramelin oil and the Crowley favored formula. First is that I dilute enough to be safe. You will almost certainly not get the red burn on your head that Thelemites desire. The second difference is that I use my Almond/Coconut oil base instead of the Olive oil based described in Mathers and Crowley.  My Thelemite version is the Crowley recipe, it will give you the burn! It does not have the Cinnamon stick in the bottle because it is not called for in the recipe.

I make Abramelin oil on Sundays in the waxing Moon. It is powerfully Solar in nature.

These magick oils are also called ritual oils, anointing oils or condition oils. They can be used to anoint a person, candle, mojo bag, lucky coins, jewelry, amulets, statues, prayer or spell scrolls, or anything that has a connection with the purpose of the oil or the "condition" it is made to address. Use them according to your inspiration, imagination, the instructions in a book, your Spirit Guide, teacher or Angel's recommendations, or how your Grandma taught you.
