Stolen Child (named for the famous poem by William Butler Yeats) is quite possibly the loveliest wand I've made! I found just a couple of these naturual Sparkling Druzy Quarts crystals treated with an Aurora Borealis iridescent coating. Gold-filled wire matches and contrast with the gold and blue flashes of the AB coating. The very dark purple/brown of the Cherry Laurel branch make the gold of the wire stand out. While this could be an all-purpose wand, it does seem to have a whole lot of Faerie Fire in it! I used this out-of focus photo on purpose because the in-focus photos do not show the Aurora Borealis flash of the stone.
