Mosasaur is a very unusual wand. Instead of a stone, it features a Fossilized Mosasaur tooth which is attached to a Flying Willow branch with Copper wire. Mosasaurs were fierce aquatic reptiles from the Cretaceous era. I am not sure why it seemed so appropriate to a Flying wood...something about flying in the water? Flying wood is obtained from trees that are not growing directly in the earth. In the case of the Willow that this wand was harvested from, it was growing from an ancient Cypress stump on Lake Travis.
