Black Cat oil is a traditional New Orleans Voudou oil with many uses. I recommend it for witchy power, protection during intense magical rites, stealth, and luck. Focus herb: three black cat hairs (acquired with Samain's purring consent)

My Black Cat oil is made on the Saturday closest to the dark Moon, at midnight. The feline who donates the hairs is a totally black cat who is a very wacky, spunky and enchanting cat!

On my second date with a lover, a black cat crossed the road as he was taking me home. He asked me, "What does that mean to witches??" I wondered, knowing that we would not consider it bad luck, but not knowing what it signifies to a witch when a black cat crosses her path. What came out of my mouth was, "It means that you are supposed to make an important decision right now. So I am deciding to ask you to stay the night with me." It was one of the best decisions I've made in my life.

After Slater passed on, I used the Black Cat hair he had donated for years. In early 2014 I totally ran out, still n search of the all-black magick cat. Samhain is now my adopted kitty who sizes up to Slater's large personality already as a kitten who plays fetch!

These magick oils are also called ritual oils, anointing oils or condition oils. They can be used to anoint a person, candle, mojo bag, lucky coins, jewelry, amulets, statues, prayer or spell scrolls, or anything that has a connection with the purpose of the oil or the "condition" it is made to address. Use them according to your inspiration, imagination, the instructions in a book, your Spirit Guide, teacher or Angel's recommendations, or how your Grandma taught you.
